FertiPro is one of the major producer of diagnostic kits for semen analysis.

Microscopic tests:

  • SpermMar IgA & IgG: detection of anti-sperm antibodies
  • Spermac Stain: Sperm morphology stain
  • LeucoScreen: Differentiation of round cells and white blood cells
  • VitalScreen: Vitality stain (eosin-nigrosin)
  • Hypo-osmotic swelling test: Vitality test

Photometric tests:

  • EpiScreen: Determination of alpha-glucosidase
  • Citric Acid test: Measurement of citric acid
  • Fructose test: Quantification of fructose

FertiPro N.V. has been one of the leading manufacturers of diagnostics and cell culture media for use in assisted reproductive techniques and diagnosis of male infertility since 1992.

Production takes place in a controlled, overpressurized laboratory environment which is classified as GMP Class C, aseptic processing and sterile filtration is done in a Class A environment. Part of the aseptic processing is done in a state-of-the-art, Class A isolator which is fully GPM compliant.

FertiPro has been ISO-certified since 1999 acccording to the ISO9001 and the ISO13485 (including CMDCAS) standards.

All thier diagnostic kits are CE marked based on the European Directive for IVD's 98/79/EC. Their Sil-Select Plus, Sil-Select Stock and FertiCult Mineral Oil are CE marked according to the European Directive for Medical Devices 93/42/EC and we are currently working on the CE marking of our Class 3 medical devices.

Pathfast

The compact, fully automatic Immunoassay Analyzer, combining advanced chemiluminescence technology with MAGTRATION® technology. The system has an inbuilt computer, LCD touch screen and printer. Up to 6 different test parameters or patients can be analysed simultaneously in one run. The Pathfast Analyzer can be used in outpatient clinics, emergency laboratories, hospitals or medical practices for rapid and quantitative diagnostics. Users do not need extensive training. No laboratory skills are needed.

The following tests are currently available:

  • Troponin I,
  • Myoglobin,
  • CKMB,
  • D-Dimer,
  • NT-proBNP,
  • hsCRP and
  • HCG.
